Greenwich 3 Hoosic Valley 2 OT: In the second overtime of the match, the Witches Madigan Carner took a feed from Declan Kelleher and found the back of the net, giving Greenwich the overtime victory over the Valley on Monday.

Amani Raphael and Declan Kelleher with first half goals staked Greenwich to a 2-0 advantage at the break.

But in the 60th minute the Indians Tom Rice, off a Tyler Eddy find, split the posts and 10 minutes later scored unassisted to knot things at 2-2, setting up the game-winner from Carner.

The Witches’ Owen Keech saved 12 shots in the match while Logan Santiago turned back five shots for Hoosic Valley

Spa Catholic 3 Cambridge 1: Cambridge broke on top when Ethan Robertson connected on a scoring strike in the 14th minute, but the Saints Aiden Law and Tommy Greiner found the range before the break giving Spa Catholic a 2-1 lead at intermission.

In the 59th minute it was Law again this time off a Will Boisclair feed, giving the Saints all the scoring they would need to secure the “W”

Waterford 2 Stillwater 1: In a close contest throughout Waterford’s Benji Mills converted on a second half penalty kick, giving the Fordians the slim victory over the Warriors on Monday.

Tyler Juliano gave Stillwater the lead with a strike in the 10th minute, before Waterford’s Joshua Catanzarita found Mason Noto who finished to knot things at 1-1 going the break.

In the 50th minute Mills found the range off the PK for the game-winner.

Both keepers played outstanding games with Fordian’s keeper Alex Roy saving 10 shots and Stillwater’s Evan Coe saving nine.

Mechanicville 13 Hoosick Falls 0: The Red Raiders scored four goals in the first 10 minutes, and added six more by halftime in cruising to the one-sided decision over the Panthers.

Andrew Krazsewski scored a hat trick as did Wyqie Aguda, while Gordan Jenny added a pair of tallies for Mechanicville. Seth Johnson, Colin McNutt, Justin Mannion and Tom Wendel also found the back the net with single scoring strikes for the Raiders.

Krazsewski and McNutt added three assists each in the match for Mechanicville.

The Raiders keeper Dylan Raucci saved one shot for the shutout, while the Falls keeper Noah Abbot, under siege throughout, turned back 20 shots for the Panthers.

Golf

Cambridge 4 Stillwater 0: James Toleman fired a 41 to lead Cambridge past the Warriors in a match at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Monday.

Mason MacDougal, Luke MacDougal and Lydia Fronhofer also earned points in the win for Cambridge.

Greenwich 5 Hoosic Valley 0: In a match at the Battenkill Country Club, the Witches’ Patrick McFee carded the low round of 43 in the Greenwich sweep of the Valley.

Bradley Brophy, Luke Demianenko, Sam Ziehm and Erik Wade all joined McFee with individual match wins for Greenwich.
