Cambridge-Salem 48 Canajoharie-Fort Plain 6: Cambridge-Salem scored 24 unanswered points to open the game and cruised to the home victory over C-FP on Saturday in Cambridge.

C-S Quarterback Brice Burr was 6 of 12 for 89 yards with a pair of scoring strikes, connecting twice with Alex Luke on 23 and 25 yards touchdown passes. Burr also added two rushing TD’s for C-S.

C-S’s Mike Riche scored on a two-yard run, part of a 12 carry, 124 yard day for the C-S back.

Luke was Burr’s favorite target catching four balls for 75 yards and the two scores.

Greenwich 2 Little Falls 2: In the Hall of Fame Tournament at Niskayuna, Greenwich and Little Falls battled to a 2-2 tie on Saturday.

Little Falls opened the scoring with a first half tally by Shayna Straney, that was quickly answered when the Witches Norah Niesz split the posts, knotting the match at 1-1.

After the break Little Falls again grabbed the lead when Straney found the back of the net for her second scoring strike, but Greenwich’s Faith Ingber connected on the equalizer later in the half with the games final goal in the 2-2 match.
