Leading Scorers:  Falls – Connor Jones 17    Jake Sparks 16     Cambridge – Logan Richter 16

Key Stat:  The Panthers limited Cambridge to just 13 points after the break

Take Away:  Hoosick Falls won every quarter and put eight players in the scoring column, in the Wasaren opener for both squads.

 

Stillwater 62  North Warren 34

Leading Scorers:  Warriors – Lukas Lilac 19    CJ McNeil 16     North Warren – Sean Evans 11

Key Stat:  Stillwater held an 11-3 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  The Warriors trailed 16-6 after the first period, but outscored their hosts 47-10 over the next two frames to take control, on their way to the road win.

 

Canajoharie 43  Saratoga Catholic 39

Leading Scorers:  Canjo – Fauley 15    Fowler 11      Saints – Dustin Duscher 13

Key Stat:  The Saints connected on more triples, eight, than two-point goals, seven.

Take Away:  Spa Catholic held a 35-33 lead entering the final frame, but Canjo held the Saints to five points in the quarter, to post the comeback “W”.

 

Girls

Hoosick Falls 85  Granville 42

Leading Scorers:  Falls – Amber MacNeil 18   Ava Case 17   Marley McLellan 14   Olivia Estes 11    Golden Horde – Lilly Strout 13

Key Stat:  The Panthers hit eight times from beyond the arc, and saw nine players score in the victory.

Take Away:  Hoosick Falls hangs 85 points on the board in their season opener, puts four players in doubles, and opens with a 26 point first quarter.
