Leading Scorers:  Falls – Jake Sparks 24   Connor Jones 13         Ti – Braden Perry 10

Key Stat:  The Panthers held Ticonderoga to single digits in three of the four periods.

Take Away:  The Panthers gave up 10 first quarter points and held a one point lead after eight minutes.  They allowed Ticonderoga 11 points the rest of the way, in notching the comfortable win, their second in as many nights in the Lake George Tip-Off Tournament.  With the win Hoosick Falls moves to 3-0 on the young season, and next up for the Panthers is a run with the Fordians of Waterford, Friday night in Hoosick Falls. 

 

Girls

Duanesburg 73  Cambridge 40  (Friday)

Leading Scorers:  Duanesburg – Hannah Mulhern 15   Allison O’Hanlon 15   Alex Moses 11   Madison Meyer 11      Cambridge – Stasia Epler 17

Key Stat:  A 23-3 first period, paved the way to the Duanesburg victory.

Take Away:  Duanesburg connected on seven threes, and put four players in doubles in day one of the Delaware Academy Tip-Off Tournament.  

 

Cooperstown 51  Cambridge 42

Leading Scorers:  Cooperstown – Dani Seamon 17   Casey Woepel 14     Cambridge Stasia Epler 24 ( 4 3’s) Schuyler Nolan 10

Key Stat:  A 14-1 fourth quarter fueled the Cooperstown “W”.

Take Away:  Cambridge outscored Cooperstown in each of the first three periods, and held a 41-37 advantage entering the final frame but couldn’t hold off Cooperstown over the final eight minutes, in second round action at the Delaware Academy Tip-Off Tournament.
