Leading Scorers:  Valley – Logan Reilly 27   Isaiah Eckler 19      Maple Hill – Brady Cole 23     Ethan Harrington 17     Ben Marra 15

Key Stat: Hoosic Valey knotted things with a 16-9 fourth period, sending the game into overtime.

Take Away:  The Valley posts the come-from-behind “W”, in the championship game of the Maple Hill Holiday Tournament, with Reilly earning MVP honors, and Eckler an all-tourney team selection.

 

Girls

Greenwich 74   Hudson Falls 38

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Adrianna Rojas 19   Brooke Kuzmich 15      Tigers – Ashleyn Hutchinson 12

Key Stat:  A 25-10 first quarter by the Witches set the tone for the game.

Take Away:  The Witches had little trouble here, outscoring the Tigers in every period to notch the nonleague win.  

 

Fonda 46   Cambridge 32

Leading Scorers:  Braves – Kyla Smith 17   Marilyn Whitcavitch 12     Cambridge – Schuylar Nolan 16

Key Stat:  Fonda held Cambridge to single numbers in each quarter.

Take Away:  Fonda won every period, slowly pulling away from Cambridge in the Shen/Impact Holiday Tournament.

 

Albany Academy 58   Mechanicville 53

Leading Scorers:  Academy – Saige Randolph 24     Red Raiders – Jill Germain 16   Chloe Goverski 16   Allie Kenyon 10

Key Stat:  Academy outscored the Raiders 30-21 over the middle two frames to gain some breathing room.

Take Away:  In a tight game throughout Academy holds off the Raiders in the final period, at the Shen/Impact Holiday Tournament.
