Key Stat:  The Falls outscored the Valley 32-18 over the middle two periods.

Take Away:  Hoosick Falls won every quarter, slowing pulling away to the road win in Schaghticoke.

 

Tamarac 78   Spa Catholic 45

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Sidney Phillips 15     Myanna Faraj 13     Emily Film 13     Kayla Beaudoin 13    Abbie Yetto 14   

Key Stat:  Five Bengals reached double figures.

Take Away:  Tamarac scored started with quarters of 21, 24 and 22 points, and rolled to the cross-over “W” in Saratoga. 

 

Emma Willard 64   Cambridge 51

Leading Scorers:  Jesters – Emma Shields 23     Audrey Shields 21 (5 3’s)        Cambridge – Stasia Epler 18      Sammi Crandall 14

Key Stat: Leading 18-17 after the first, Emma Willard used a 23-15 second period to gain some cushion.

Take Away:  The Shields sisters combine for 44 points, leading the Jesters to the well-earned win in Cambridge.  

 

Waterford 33   Stillwater 29

Leading Scorers:  Fordians – Natalie Rich 13       Warriors – Peyton Morris 12

Key Stat:  Waterford outscored the Warriors 22-14 after the break.

Take Away:  The Fordians, trailing 15-11 at halftime, won the final two frames to post the road “W”.

 

Boys

Greenwich 67   Hoosick Falls 53

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Jesse Kuzmich 26     Jacob Ziehm 20     Joe Skiff 13       Panthers – Jake Sparks 20     Connor Jones 11

Key Stat:  Greenwich held a 9-3 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  Greenwich built a 34-22 lead by halftime and secured the win after an evenly played second half.  

 

Mechanicville 84   Hoosic Valley 72

Leading Scorers:  Red Raiders – Tyler Eiseman 28     Colin Richardson 26 (5 3’s)     Joe Devito 19     Valley – Loga Reilly 25     Isaiah Eckler 19 (5 3’s)     Tyler Eddy 20

Take Away: It was a three act play in Mechanicville with the Raiders holding a 39-26 advantage at the half,  the Valley coming all the way back after the break to take a 70-68 lead with :02 remaining when Richardson scored, sending the game into overtime where Mechanicville pulled away to the victory.  

 

Cambridge 53   Berlin/New Lebanon 29

Leading Scorers:  Cambridge – Logan Richter 21     Isaac Toleman 17      Mountaineers – Chris Shorter 9    Jesse Francouer 9

Key Stat:  Cambridge jumped out to a 17-7 lead after the first frame.

Take Away:  Cambridge won every period in securing the road win over the Mountaineers.

 

Spa Catholic 56   Waterford 47

Leading Scorers: Saints – Robbie Bolen 19     Mark Hmura 15 (5 3’s)    Cam Khoury 10        Fordians – Derrick Pontore 18     Gavin Bodah 15

Key Stat:  The Saints held an 11-5 advantage in made triples.

Take Away:  In a game tied 24-24 at the break, the Saints used a 21-14 third period to gain breathing room, and held on for the road win in Waterford.
