Leading Scorers:  Witches – Joe Skiff 30  (5 3’s)      Jacob Ziehm 14             Tanagers – Ray Harrington 14

Key Stat:  The Witches held a 12-3 advantage in made threes.  

Take Away:  The Greenwich attack was firing on all cylinders scoring 45 first half points taking a 29-point cushion into the break and coasted from there to the non-league win over the Tanagers. 

 

Hoosick Falls 61   St. Lawrence 36

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Jake Sparks 25, 11 rebounds         St. Lawrence – Aiden Beach 22

Key Stat:  The Falls jumped out to a 22-7 lead after the first eight minutes.

Take Away:  Hoosick Falls took control with a big first period, that saw Sparks connect on 17 of his game-high 25 points and rolled to the home “W” over St. Lawrence.

 

Loudonville Christian 65    Cambridge 33

Leading Scorers:  Eagles – Jared Pratt 16            Cambridge – Noah Burke 10

 

Bethlehem 61   Mechanicville 43

Leading Scorers:  Eagles – Logan Yohe 22     Kiernan Barnes 12             Red Raiders – Colin Richardson 29

Key Stat:  Bethlehem held an 11 -3 advantage in makes from beyond the arc. 

Take Away:  The Raiders trailed 32-18 at the half but used a 17-8 third frame to pull within five heading to the fourth, where Bethlehem closed out the victory.   Richardson led all scorers with 29 points on a night where Mechanicville stepped up in class taking on the AA Eagles which will pay dividends down the road for the Raiders

 

Girls

Leading Scorers:  Burghers – Kara Bacon 19     Elli York 12     Hope Sherman 12          Saints – Grace Schaefer 13

 

Duanesburg 56   Mechanicville 40

Leading Scorers:  Eagles – Allison O’Hanlon 20     Hannah Mulhern 15     Alex Moses 11     Lauren Capron 10       Red Raiders – Lila Christensen 16     Allison Kenyon 11

Key Stat:  Duanesburg connected on 15 of 20 free throws, while Mechanicville converted 6 of 12 from the stripe.

Take Away:  Duanesburg built an 18-4 cushion in the first period and rode that cushion to the home “W”. Only four Eagle players scored in the game, but all four managed to hit double figures.
