Key Stat:  Tamarc outscored the Witches 18-6 over the final eight minutes.

Take Away:  The Bengals built a 41-31 halftime advantage, but Greenwich trimmed the margin to five at 63-58 entering the fourth period where Tamarac closed things out to earn their 10th Wasaren victory in as many outings.  Tamarac connected eight times from beyond the arc and put three players in doubles, wrapping up a day of basketball on the Bengals Big Red Day Event.  

 

Tamarac 51   Johnstown 10

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Abbie Yetto 14            Sir Bills – Hisert 5

Key Stat:  Tamarac held the Sir Bills to just two, first-half points.  

Take Away:  The Bengals put 10 players in the scoring column and continue their fine season, moving to 8-1, 11-2 with the nonleague “W” on Big Red Day in Tamarac.  

 

Waterford 75   Cambridge 46  (Friday)

Leading Scorers:  Fordians – Derrick Pontore 41        Matt Soden 12          Anthony Scunziano 10             Cambridge Thomas MacDonough 16        Isaac Toleman 15        

Key Stat:  Waterford led 25-12 at the end of period one.  

Take Away:  The Fordians rode their first quarter advantage over quarters two and three and closed with a 24-9 final frame in earning the home victory on Friday night.  Pontore pours in 41 on one free throw and 20 two-point goals, twice as many as the Cambridge squad managed.
