Mechanicville’s Matthew Salvadore led all golfers with a round of 39, but the Witches earned the win in a match that was much closer than the final score would indicate.

Greenwich’s Peter Wade, Dylan Brown, Richie Coon and Noah Spezio all captured match wins for the Witches while, Salvadore and Kolton Rinaldi won individual matches for the Raiders.

In the top three combined scores, worth three points, the two squads were tied at 123, forcing a tiebreaker where Greenwich prevailed by a single stroke.

Waterford 5.5 Hoosic Valley 3.5

Fordians Dylan Day and Landon Pitcher shared medalist honors with rounds of 42 in Waterford’s win at Fairways of Halfmoon on Monday.

Other scores for Waterford included Bradley O’Connor 48, Andrew O’Connor 53 and Evan Cavosie with 53’s.

Scores for the Valley included Keegan Antolick 43, Owen Harder 46, Ryan Morrisey and Craig D’Avella with 48’s, and Jackson Schram with a round of 49.

With the win Waterford moves to 1-1on the year while Hoosic Valley slips to 0-2.

Cambridge/Salem 9 Tamarac 0

With rounds of 41, Cody Doinsthrope and Cody Beagle claimed medalist honors in C/S’s shutout win over Tamarac at Hoosick Falls Country Club on Monday.

Scores for C/S included Stephen Yakubec 42, Connor Genevick 43, Lain Foster 44, and Sawyer Armstrong with a round of 44.

Stillwater 7.5 Hoosick Falls 1.5

In action at the Saratoga Lake Golf Club the Falls’ Jack Shea and Spencer Tate, along with Stillwater’s Dan Degasse-Izzo shared the low round carding 39’s in the Stillwater victory.

Scores for Stillwater included Tye Morris 40, Julian Peluso 44, Vincent Fest 46, Jack Luskin 51, and Logan Surakan with a round of 54.

Scores for the Falls included Quinn Haynes 47, Callen Aubin 50, Aidyn DeGraff 51, Colton Brust 56 and Memphis Hathaway with a round of 58.
