Matthew Salvadore fired the low round of 36 to lead Mechanicville to the win over Hoosic Valley in action at the Mechanicville Golf Course on Thursday.

Joining Salvadore in the winner’s circle were Raiders Kolton Rinaldi, Vinny Taylor, AJ Messercola and John Cady.

Mechanicville’s Brody Lang and the Valley’s Ryan Morrissey split the point in flight five.

Mechanicville improves to 3-1 on the season while Hoosic Valley drope to 1-4.

Waterford 8.5 Tamarac .5

Waterford’s Dylan Day and Landon Pitcher shared medalist honors carding rounds of 41, leading the Fordians to the “W” over Tamarac at Fairways of Halfmoon on Wednesday.

Other scores for Waterford included Evan Cavosie 46, Bradley O’Connor 48, and Andrew O’Connor with a round of 52.

Tamarac scores included Troy Karz 45, Clayton Weyant 50 and AJ Lee with a round of 53.

Waterford moves to 2-1 on the year with the win, while Tamarac slips to 0-3.

Stillwater 2 Maple Hill 1

Stillwater used single scoring strikes in each half to notch the narrow win over Maple Hill in their season-opener on Wednesday.

Kennedie Van Pelt and Brooke Hodson split the posts for Stillwater with Finley Bornt assisting on both scores.

Hayley Spar found the range with a second half tally for Maple Hill.

Addison Thornton saved four shots in the win for Stillwater while Faiel Galsheen Hasse turned back eight shots for Maple Hill.

Schuylerville 1 Stillwater 0

After a scoreless first half Schuylerville connected on the lone score in the match after the break to earn the road win over Stillwater on Thursday.

Stillwater keeper Addison Thornton saved 10 shots in the loss.

Mechanicville 0 South Glens Falls 0

In the season-opener for both squads a well-played match ended in a scoreless tie on Thursday.

Both keepers and the defensive units earned shutouts with SGF’s keeper Troy Sims and Mechanicville’s keeper Ethan Staunton turning back four shots each.

Cambridge/Salem 1 Lake George 0

In a tight match throughout C/S’s Alex Olsen connected on the lone goal of the match, going low, far corner from the top of the box and the C/S defense made it stand for the home win on Thursday.

C/S keeper Tyler Beadling saved four shots and combined with the defense for the shutout.

Lake George keeper Martin Farrell saved five shots in defeat.
