Mechanicville scored three times in each half and posted the comfortable win over Tamarac on Monday.

Graham Murphy with a hat trick and single tallies by Aiden Fitzgerald, Evan Zupan and Bentley Walton paced the Raider attack.

Joel Kizza connected in the second half for the Bengals.

Mechanicville keeper Ethan Staunton saved three shots in the win while Tamarac goaltender VanSlyters turned away 15 attempts in the loss.

Hoosic Valley 3 Berlin/New Lebanon 0

The Valley held a 1-0 advantage at the break and pulled away with a pair of second half scores in posting the win under the lights at Berlin/New Lebanon on Monday.

Colton Schram scored twice off finds from Carter Simpson and Keegan Antolick while Simpson finished an Emily Schmidt feed for the final Valley tally.

Waterford 6 Spa Catholic 1

Spa Catholic took a 1-0 lead just five minutes in but Waterford finished the half with five unanswered strikes, on their way to the road “W” in Saratoga.

The Saints CJ Smith opened the scoring off a Nick Miller find, but the 1-0 lead was short-lived.

Connor Belonga with a hat trick and single tallies from Nick Frazier and Jonny Atwood gave Waterford a 5-1 edge going into the break.

Waterford’s Howard Chapin connected after intermission for the final goal in the match.

Henry Chapin and Atwood combined to save six shots for Waterford while Saints keeper Earle saved 15 shots in the match.

Cambridge/Salem 3 Stillwater 0

C/S built a 2-0 advantage by the break on their way to the shutout win over Stillwater on Monday.

Alex Olsen started the scoring 20 minutes into the half driving a penalty home for the 1-0 lead.

With three minutes remaining in the half Olsen’s second tally of the match gave the visitors a 2-0 cushion.

Rowan Ossant connected for the final score just two minutes after intermission and the C/S defense kept Stillwater off the board the rest of the way to close out the road “W”.

Cambridge/Salem keeper Tyler Beadling saved three shots in posting his third shutout of the season, while Stillwater keeper Jayden Mwale saved six shots for the home squad.

Mechanicville 6.5 Greenwich 2.5

Mechanicville’s Matthew Salvador and Greenwich’s Brett Traver shared medalist honors with low rounds of 39 in the Raiders home win at the Mechanicville Golf Club on Monday.

Joining Salvadore with match wins for Mechanicville were teammates Brody Landy and John Cady.

Sam Ziehm and Dylan Brown earned match wins for Greenwich while Mechanicville’s Vinny Taylor and the Witches Pete Wade split the point in flight three.

Mechanicville picked up three points for the low combined score, besting Greenwich 122-125.

With the win Mechanicville improves to 8-2 on the year and with the loss Greenwich slips to 6-1-1.
