After a scoreless regulation Mechanicville scored in the sixth minute of the first overtime when Kendall Boechner connected on the game-winner giving the Raiders the narrow victory.
Mechanicville keeper Christina Bornt saved two shots in the shutout while Stillwater keeper Addison Thournton saved just one shot in the match.
Hoosic Valley 6 Cambridge/Salem 1
Hoosic Valley built a 2-0 halftime lead and pulled away with four second half strikes to the victory on Tuesday.
Mia MacMillen with two goals and an assist, and Sophia Akin with a pair of goals and an assist led the Valley attack with Nora Luskin goal and an assist, Payton Gela single tally and Annabelle Bruette with an assist rounding out the scoring.
C/S avoided the shutout when Riley Gallagher connected with 18 minutes rmaining in the match.
Valley keeper Lily Ruepp saved three shots in the win and C/S keepers Charlotte Hodgkinson and Olivia Keller combined to save 22 shots on the day.
Tamarac 7 Berlin/New Lebanon 0
Six different Bengals found the back of the net with four coming before the break in Tamarac’s one-sided decision over B/NL on Tuesday.
Riley Ogden with a pair of goals and Summer Grieco, Ava Petersen, Abby Acker, Camilla Desson and Abby Maloney with single strikes led the Bengal attack.
Emma Willard 4 Hoosick Falls 3 OT
Ani Jerian connected on her second goal of the match two minutes into the first overtime session giving the Jesters the win over the Falls on Tuesday.
Clara Dow and Phoenix Newell added singles tallies in the match for Emma Willard.
Spa Catholic 7 Cambridge/Salem 2
The Saints Mark Mahay showed the way with the low round of 39 in the Spa Catholic victory at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Tuesday.
Joining Mahay with match wins were teammates Cole Cefalu and Lee Lockrow.
James Beagle and Cody Donisthrope won individual matches for C/S.
The Saints won the top three combined scores 126-135 to pick up the three additional points.
Waterford 5.5 Hoosick Falls 3.5
Led by Dylan Day’s low round of two over par 38, the Fordians bested the Falls for the win at Fairways of Halfmoon on Tuesday.
Other scores for Waterford included Bradley O’Connor 46, and Landon Pitcher and Andrew O’Connor with rounds of 48.
Top scores for Hoosick Falls included Aidyn DeGraaf 46, Quinn Hayes 49 and Jack Shea with a round of 51.
With the win Waterford improves to 3-7 on the year while Hoosick Falls goes to 6-5 on the season with the loss.
Greenwich 6 Hoosic valley 3
In action at the Battenkill Country Club on Tuesday the Witches Dylan Brown led all golfers with a round of 41 in the Greenwich “W” over Hoosic Valley.
Joining Brown with match wins for Greenwich were teammates Sam Ziehm and Brayden Stutzman.
Match winners for the Valley included Owen Harder, Ryan Morrissey and Owen Williams.
Greenwich edged the Valley in top three combined scores 126-127.
With the win Greenwich’s record stands at 7-1-1 while Hoosic Valley’s mark is 5-6 on the year.
