Seven players scored for C/S in the one-sided decision over Spa Catholic on Wednesday at Cambridge.
Alex Olsen led the way with a pair of goals with teammates Rowan Ossont, Brady Brownell. Juan Espinosa, Theo Leblanc, Jacob Armstrong and Nolan Thomas all adding single tallies.
Olsen, Ossont, Brownell, and Dawson Honyoust all added assists in the match for C/S.
Waterford 3 Tamarac 0
The Fordians held a 1-0 lead at the break and tacked on a pair of second half goals to pull away for the win under the lights in Waterford.
Midway through the first half Conner Belonga finished an Evan Bristol feed for the 1-0 advantage that Waterford took into intermission.
Midway through the second half it was Belonga again, this time cleaning up a rebound in front for the 2-0 cushion and just minutes later Belonga put the game away with his third tally of the night, this one off a nice through ball from Brady Sheehan.
Waterford keepers Henry Chapin and Jonny Atwood combined for the shutout turning back four shots in the victory.
Mechanicville 2 Hoosick Falls 0
The Raiders used single scoring strikes in each half to notch the win over the visiting Panthers Wednesday night in Mechanicville.
Graham Murphy put the Raiders on top with a first half tally and Aiden Fitzgerald added an insurance goal after the break, more than enough to earn the “W” with the Mechanicville defense and keeper Ethan Staunton, (2 saves), posting the clean sheet.
Hoosick Falls keeper Bartholomew saved 20 shots in the match.
Spa Catholic 6 Hadley Luzerne 1 Tuesday
In a match knotted at 1-1 in the early going, Spa Catholic scored the last five goals in the contest to pull away for the home win on Tuesday.
Six different Saints rang the bell with Lily Guidon, Addison Quail, Julia Dejnozka, Annabelle David, Hannah Carter and Paige Jaffe all finding the range for the host squad.
Quail assisted on a pair of scores for the Saints with David and Jillian Venn adding scoring finds as well.
Spa Catholic keepers Sophia Klamp and Sophia Brunner combined for five saves in the win, while Hadley keeper Melanie York turned away nine shots in the loss.
With the win the Saints improve to 7-1 on the season.
Mechanicville 6.5 Hoosic Valley 2.5
Mechanicville’s Matthew Salvadore led all golfers with a round of 38 in the Raiders victory over the Valley on Wednesday.
Joining Salvadore with match wins were teammates Vinnie Taylor and John Cady.
Owen Harder and Craig D’Avella earned match wins for Hoosic Valley while the Valley’s Owen Willaims and Mechanicville’s Brody Landy finished all square, splitting the match point.
In the lowest three combined scores tally Mechanicville prevailed 126-135 to claim the three, stroke-play points.
With the win Mechanicville moves to 9-2 on the season while Hoosic Valley slips to 5-7 with the loss.
