On rainy Monday in Greenwich Hoosic Valley’s Mia MacMillen struck for the only score of the match, splitting the posts late in the first half off an Annabelle Bruette feed and the Valley in the road win over the Witches.
Hoosic Valley keeper Lily Ruepp (9 saves), combined with the Valley “D” for the shutout, while Greenwich goaltender Molly Andrew saved seven shots in the match.
Stillwater 11 Cambridge/Salem 0
Six different players scored for Stillwater with eight goals coming before the break in the one-sided decision over C/S on Monday.
Kamryn VanPelt led the scoring parade with four goals in the match with Kaylee Emmalowicz and Brooke Hodgson adding a pair of scoring strikes each and Alyce Mosley, Kayla Komoroske and Peyton Perretta connecting on single tallies for the home squad.
Mechanicville 8 Hoosick Falls 0
The Raiders ran out to a 4-0 lead by the break, on their way to the comfortable win under the lights in Mechanicville on Monday night.
Gianna Pitts enjoyed a four-goal evening while Tanner Eiseman and Calli Christensen added a pair of goals each with Eiseman assisting on three of the Raider scores.
Mechanicville keeper Christina Bornt, kept clean by the Raider defense didn’t record a save in the match while Hoosick Falls keepers Ashley McMahon and Gretta Rowlands combined to stop 25 shots on the night.
Waterford 2 Tamarac 1
Waterford used scoring strikes from Kiarra Johnson and Amalia Fitch to earn the narrow victory at Clum’s Corners on Monday.
After a scoreless first half Johnson put the Fordians in the board with an unassisted tally, that Tamarac quickly answered when Abby Maloney split the posts off a corner kick, knotting the game at 1-1.
Later in the half Fitch found the back of the net with the eventual game-winner.
Emma Willard 3 Spa Catholic 2 OT
The Jesters Phoenix Newell scored twice in the match, the second goal coming in the second overtime lifting Emma Willard past Spa Catholic on Monday in Saratoga.
Lily Sebastian added a single tally for Emma Willard in the victory.
With the win Emma Willard remains undefeated on the year at 5-0 while Spa Catholic goes to 7-2 on the season.
