Mechanicville 44 Green Tech 14

The Raiders ran out to a 14-0 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back in posting a dominant win on Senior Night in Mechanicville.

The home squad rode a strong ground attack to the “W”, rushing for 357 on the night.

Mechanicville quarterback Stephen Doty ran for 158 yards and two scores while through the air Doty was 3-4 for 104 yards and a pair of touchdown strikes.

Pat Doty led the Raider receivers with three catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns, while Mechanicville running backs Jonathon Harris and Jacob Williams combined for 103 rushing yards and a pair of scores.

With the win Mechanicville moves to 2-3 on the year.

Schuylerville 42 Tamarac/Hoosick Falls 20

Schuylerville built a 28-14 lead by the break and held off the Wildcats over the final two periods to earn the road win on Friday night.

The Black Horses opened the game with a 77-yards kickoff return to take a 6-0 lead.

But T/HF quickly answered when August Lee ran for a 63-yard touchdown and with the extra point led 7-6.

Schuylerville then took control finishing the quarter with a pair of TD runs and opening the second frame with a 63-yard scoring strike from Alex Palmer building a 28-7 cushion.

T/HF made it a two-score game before the half when Owen Hart found Porter Driscoll from 8-yards out cutting the deficit to 28-14, but the home squad could draw no closer over the final two quarters.

Emma Willard 6 Schnectady 3

Freshman Phoenix Newell led the way for the Jesters with a hat trick while Gemma Ritchie and the Hill sisters Sally and Jane all added single scoring strikes in the win.

Hoosic Valley 7 Cambridge/Salem 2

Keegan Antolick led all golfers with a round of 41 leading the Valley to the win in action at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Thursday.

Joining Antolick with match wins were teammates Owen Harder, Craig D’Avilla, and Ryan Morrissey.

Earning match wins for C/S were James Beagle and Sawyer Armstrong.
