Mechanicville 7 Greenville 2

Three Raiders enjoyed multiple goal matches in Mechanicville’s comfortable win over Greenville on Saturday.

Ella Manning with a hat trick and Gianna Pitts and Tanner Eiseman with a pair of scoring strikes each led the Raider attack.

Eiseman added three assists as well in a game that saw Mechanicville run out to 4-1 by the break and cruise from there to their eighth win in nine outings.

Mechanicville keeper Christna Bornt saved seven shots in the win while Greenville goaltender Isabelle Hunter turned back eight shots in defeat.

Hoosic Valley 2 Spa Catholic 0

Hoosic Valley used a pair of first-half goals and a lockdown defensive effort to earn the home “W” over the Saints on Saturday.

The Valley got on the board ten minutes in when Abe Mayer rang the bell from just outside the 18 giving the hosts a 1-0 advantage.

Late in the half the second and final tally of the match came when Parker Gela finished a Connor Seymour find for the 2-0 cushion and the Valley defense made it stand.

Berne-Knox Westerlo 2 Cambridge/Salem 1

Single tallies BKW’s by Andrew Pallati and Jack Bennett provided just enough scoring to get past C/S on Saturday.

C/S avoided the shutout on a Nolan Thomas scoring strike.

Cohoes 4 Waterford 0

Cohoes ran out to a 3-0 lead by halftime and rode that cushion to the win in the Homecoming game at Cohoes on Saturday.

Tigers’ Edson with two goals and Olavares and Hoataling with single strikes led the Cohoes aattack.

Cohoes keeper Marcil saved eight shots in the shutout while Waterford keepers Henry Chapin and Jonny Atwood combined for 16 saves in the loss.

Stillwater/Spa Catholic 57 Hudson Falls/Ft. Edward 14

SSC built a 36-0 lead by intermission and rolled to the one-sided decision over HF/FE on Saturday.

Luke Dejnozka rushed for 144 yards on 13 carries with two touchdowns while David Kramek ran for 84 yards on three totes, scoring twice for SSC.

David Kingston Jr. added 28 rushing yards with a touchdown and a 59-yard pick six for SSC.

Defensively Joe Morris enjoyed a monster game with 18 tackles including 10 solos in the win. \

With that win SSC moves to 4-1 on the season while HF/FE slips to 3-2 with the loss.
