Tamarac 3 Spa Catholic 2 OT

Tamarac held a 1-0 lead at the break, and extended their advantage to 2-0 before the Saints tallied twice within 10 minutes sending the match into overtime where the Bengals prevaled.

Matt Setffler, Evan Glenn and Jacob Smith with single tallies paced the Bengals attack while David Redgrave scored both of Spa Catholic’s goals.

Greenwich 1 Waterford 0

The Witches Owen Shannon found the back of the net with the only tally of the match, leading Greenwich past Waterford in action on Wednesday.

Greenwich keeper Mason Foster saved 13 shots and combined with the Witches defense for the shutout.

Waterford goaltender Henry Chapin turned away five shots in defeat.

Mechanicville 4 Berlin/New Lebanon 0

Mechanicville ran out to a 3-0 lead by halftime and cruised from there to the win over B/NL on Wednesday.

Graham Murphy with a hat trick and Ethan Ryder with a header off a Mason Krosky corner accounted for the Raider scoring. Krosky assisted on three of the Mechanicville goals on the night.

Mechanicville keeper Ethan Staunton saved one shot and with the Raider defense combined for the clean sheet.

Cambridge/Salem 4 Hoosic Valley 0

Rowan Ossont, Alex Olsen, Nolan Thomas, and Theo LeBlanc all found the range for C/S in the shutout win over the Valley on Wednesday.

Ossont, Olsen and Kieren Carroll added assists in the victory on Senior Night at Cambridge/Salem.

With the win C/S clinches at least a share of the Wasaren title.

C/S keeper Tyler Beadling saved five shots in the win while Hoosic Valley keeper Travis Bleakley saved eight shots in the loss.

Tamarac 1 Hoosic Valley 0 Tuesday

In a match that was scoreless at the end of regulation, the Bengals earned the win when Ashlyn Tomaro found Isabella Ackner who found the back of the net with the game-winner.

Mechanicville 1 Waterford 0

An unassisted goal in the second half by Tanner Eiseman was all the Raiders needed to get past the Fordians of Waterford on Tuesday.

Mechanicville keeper Christina Bornt saved three shots in the victory while Fordian goaltender Isabella Savage turned back 15 shots in defeat.

Cambridge/Salem 2 Greenwich 2 OT

Playing through regulation and a pair of overtime sessions the two squads settled for the 2-2 deadlock.

After a scoreless first half C/S”s Natalie Wood sandwiched a pair of goals around single strikes from the Witches Averi McQueen and Danika Hughes sending the game into extra sessions where the squads’ defensive units took center stage.

Greenwich keeper Molly Andrew saved six shots in the match while Olivia Keller turned away 14 shots for C/S.

North Warren 5 Spa Catholic 4 OT

In a back-and-forth match throughout North Warren connected with the game-winner in overtime to slip past the Saints on Monday.

CJ Smith and Davis Redgrave both tallied twice to lead the Spa Catholic attack.

Schuylerville 2 Waterford 0

After a scoreless first half a pair of Tyler Thomas scoring strikes led the Black Horses past Waterford in a nonleague match on Monday.

Schuylerville keeper Ethan Spodnick saved four shots in the shutout win, while Waterford goaltender Jonny Atwood stopped 15 shots in the loss.

Hoosic Valley 3 Corinth 2

Connor Seymour with a pair of tallies and Colton Schram with a single strike led the Valley past Corinth in a nonleague battle in Schaghticoke on Monday.

Seymour and Schram both connected before the break staking the Valley to a 2-1 lead that was extended when Seymour found the back of the net in the second half for his second goal of the match.

An Owen Shanahan tally drew Corinth within one at 3-2 late in the half, but the Valley defense shut the door to close out the home “W”.

Cambridge/Salem 4 Fort Ann 2

After a scoreless first half C/S rang the bell four times after the break with three coming from Alex Olsen to earn the nonleague win in action in Monday.

Rowan Ossont added a goal and an assist for C/S with teammates Dawson Honyoust and Brady Brownell also adding assists in the win.

Hoosick Falls Earns Wasaren Golf Title

On Monday at McGreggor Links the Wasaren held their league invitational and at day’s end the Panthers of Hoosick Falls came away with the victory.

In teams of four golfers the Falls bested the field with a 25 over par score with Mechanicville and Hoosic Vallley finishing tied in second with scores of 35 over.

Hoosick Falls Jack Shea led all golfers with around of 74 edging Mechanicville’s Matthew Salvador who carded a round of 75.

Rounding out the top 10 were Spa Catholic’s Mark Mahay and HV’s Owen Harder with rounds of 80, Stillwater’s Tye Morris, Waterford’s Dylan Day and HF’s Spencer Tate with 81’s, HV’s Keegan Antolick 83, and Greenwich’s Sam Zeihm, Mechanicville’s Kolton Rinaldi and Spa Catholic’s Cole Cefalu with rounds of 84.
