It’s hard to believe with all the snow and rain that’s fallen over the past couple of weeks that many area high school teams have stepped on the diamonds and begun the 2017 softball/baseball season.

This week in baseball the Saratoga Catholic Saints posted a trio of dominant “W’s” scoring double digits in each victory, while the Indians of Hoosic Valley enjoyed a 2-0 start to the season handling their business in a pair of outings.

On the softball side of things Spa Catholic won two of three, while Greenwich and Cambridge both posted victories over the Indians of Hoosic Valley.
