Congratulations to Greenwich’s Cole Burgess on being named Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week.

Over a seven day span the senior quarterback put together impressive numbers leading the Witches to a pair of victories on the football field.  

Last Saturday Cole ran for 219 yards and three touchdowns, while throwing for 164 yards and a score in a 43-38 win over Cambridge.

This past Friday, Burgess ran for 187 yards on six carries, scoring twice, and added a touchdown through the air and a kickoff return for a score in Greenwich’s 42-3 victory over Whitehall.
