On a January Wednesday in the Wasaren, four boys basketball games played out and at night’s end a close decision was no where to be found.

Tamarac 91  Berlin 32

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Anthony Ciampolillo 23        Bo Catherwood 19          Dan Honsinger 10              Mountaineers – Kasey Billert 10

Key Stat:  The Bengals scored 20 or more in every quarter, and put 10 players in the scoring column in the one-sided affair.

League Records:  Tamarac 6-2      Berlin 0-6

 

Stillwater 50  Hoosic Valley 29

Leading Scorers:  Warriors – Grant Baker 14       James Galarneau 12        Cooper Monast 11          Valley – Isaac Carlo 14

Key Stat:  Stillwater held the Indians to single digits in three of the four periods and used a 22-9 fourth quarter to seal the “W”.

League Records:  Stillwater 4-3        Hoosic Valley 3-5

 

Hoosick Falls 65  Spa Catholic 34

Leading Scorers:  Panthers – Jon Kempf 21         Tristan Williams 20            Saints – Jordan Catone 8         Tim Barrett 8

Key Stat:  The Falls won every quarter including a 12-0 advantage in the first, setting the tone for the easy victory over the Saints.

League Records:  Hoosick Falls 7-0      Saratoga Catholic 2-6

 

Greenwich 66  Cambridge 33

Leading Scorers:  Witches – John Walsh 24            Carson Mosher 13           Indians – Ben Epler 8

Key Stat:  The Witches bottomed 7 triples, won every period and saw 10 players score in doubling up the Indians.

League Records:  Greenwich 4-3          Cambridge 2-6
