Greenwich 4 Doane Stuart 3: AJ Rymph with two goals, and Charlie Gartner and Tommy Abate with single strikes led the Witches past Doane Stuart on Thursday.
Greenwich gained some breathing room when Gartner and Abate both found the range in the first ten minutes of the second half to open up a game that was tied 1-1 at the break.
Saratoga Catholic 1 Hartford 1 OT: Ben Urbaetis scored a first half goal for the Saints and Spa Catholic took the 1-0 lead into halftime. But after the break Hartford’s Nick Matteson evened things with a tally at the 74:00 mark and after a pair of overtime sessions the teams settled for the tie.
Argyle 8 Hoosic Valley 0: It was all Argyle as the Scotties scored three first half goals and added five more after intermission in the shutout “W” over the Valley.
Andrew Cormie with four goals and Tyler Huminston with three strikes led the potent Argyle attack.
Girls Soccer
Hadley Luzerne 4 Spa Catholic 3: The Saints took a 3-1 lead into halftime but couldn’t hold on as the visitors from Hadley connected on three unanswered in the second half to post the come-from-behind “W”.
The Saints Lauren Maher accounted for all three Spa Catholic goals before leaving the game due to injury late in the first half.
Hannah Johnson and Alyssa Starzec with two goals each paced the Eagles offensively.

Greenwich 5 Stillwater 0: Jake Owens fired the low round of 39 to lead the Witches to the sweep of Stillwater in action at the Battenkill Country Club on Thursday.
Grant Peck, Tyler Ziehm, Bradley Brophy and Patrick McFee all posted individual wins for the Witches who with the victory improve to 2-2 on the year.
