Tamarac 89   Schalmont 57

Leading Scorers:  Bengals – Zach Rice 21     Joey Poulin 17     James Blake 16     Patrick Mainello 14   Aiden McDonough 10         Sabres – Andrew VanDyke 17      Isaiah Smith 15     Max Pratt 10

Key Stat:  Tamarac took control with a 32-point first frame.

Take Away:  The Bengals leading 50-40 the half. pulled away after the break, posting the comfortable second round win in Class B.  Tamarac impressively puts five players in doubles in the victory and moves on to face Glens Falls, Friday night at HVCC in an 8:00 start.

 

Greenwich 78   Chatham 20

Leading Scorers:  Witches – Adrianna Rojas 27     Norah Niesz 18     Grace Autiello 11          Chatham – Ally Engle 6

Key Stat:  The Witches held Chatham to single numbers in each if the final three quarters.

Take Away:  Trailing 10-9 after the first eight minutes, Greenwich outscored Chatham 69-10 the rest of the way, cruising to the Class C quarterfinal win.  The Witches advance to play Berne-Knox, Tuesday night in a 6:00 semifinal at Colonie.

 

Mechanicville 46   Broadalbin Perth 27

Leading Scorers:  Red Raiders – Chloe Goverski 24     Lila Christensen 11      BP – Molly Russom 6     Jill Sassanella 6

Key Stat:  Mechanicville held Perth to single numbers in every period.

Take Away:  The Raiders ride a big defensive effort and 24 points from Goverski to the Class B quarterfinal win.  Next up for Mechanicville is a Tuesday night matchup with Fonda at Averill Park at 6 p.m.

 

Duanesburg 62   Cambridge 29

Leading Scorers:  Duanesburg – Alison O’Hanlon 27 (6 3’s)    Cassidy Miakisz 13      Cambridge – Stasia Epler 18

Key Stat:  Duanesburg ran out to a 32-9 halftime lead.

Take Away:  Duanesburg won every quarter in notching the Class C quarterfinal.

 

Schalmont 66    Tamarac 35

Leading Scorers:  Schalmont – Karissa Antoine 20     Haley Burchhardt 18     Payton Graber 17 (4 3’s)     Bengals – Myanna Faraj 9     Sidney Phillips 9

Key Stat:  Schalmont held a 9-2 advantage in made threes.

Take Away:  Schalmont outscored Tamarac in every quarter in posting the Class B quarterfinal victory.
