Hoosic Valley 3 Granville 1

Hoosic Valley’s Colton Schram connected on a pair of goals and Parker Gela added a single scoring strike to lead the Valley to the home win over Granville on Saturday morning.

Schram’s first tally came off a Gela feed midway thru the first half, giving the home squad a 1-0 lead that they took into the break.

After intermission it was Gela’s turn, splitting the posts off a Connor Seymour find for the 2-0 advantage.

Granville got on the board minutes later on a Carter Lehoisky tally off a Cameron Rathbun assist.

Schram closed out the scoring late in the match burying a penalty to seal the Valley “W”.

Mechanicville 6 South Glens Falls 0

Leading 2-0 at the half, Mechanicville pulled away with four, second-half scores to earn the victory over South Glens Falls.

Gianna Pitts led the Raider attack with four goals, while teammates Tanner Eisman and Ella Manning added single strikes.

Eiseman finished the day with three assists and Manning added a pair of helpers in the match.

Raider keeper Christina Bornt saved one shot in the game while SGF keeper Sheeran Enhalze turned back 25 shots in the loss.

Cairo-Durham 4 Cambridge/Salem 1

Cairo-Durham built a 3-1 halftime lead and held on for the win over C/S in the championship game of the Berlin/New Lebanon Soccer Tournament.

Midway through the first half Aria McCade connected on goals three minutes apart giving C/D a 2-0 lead.

With 9:00 left in the half C/S got on the board when Mary Langevin finished a Kiara Ayers feed, cutting the deficit in half.

But C/D answered before the break on an Amanda Ramos-Rivera tally and a 3-1 edge.

Ramos-Rivera closed out the scoring in the match midway through the second half with her second goal of the game.

Cairo-Durham’s Lucy Palmer saved two shots in the win and Cambridge/Salem keeper Charlotte Hodgkinson saved 12 shots in the loss.

Chazy 7 Waterford 0

After a scoreless twenty minutes to start the match, Chazy pulled away with three tallies before the break, and four more after intermission to post the shutout win over the Fordians of Waterford.

Waterford keepers Atwood and Chapin combined for seven saves in the game.

Cairo-Durham 2 Spa Catholic 1 PK’s

In the consolation match of the Berlin/New Lebanon Soccer Tournament, Spa Catholic held a 1-0 advantage at the break, before C/D knotted things early in the second half, and after an overtime session the game was decided with penalty kicks where Cairo-Durham prevailed.
