The Hoosic Valley softball program in recent years has grown accustomed to playing well into June with the Indians advancing to the state semifinals just a season ago. Saratoga Catholic made the trip to Schaghticoke Wednesday afternoon to take on the Indians of Hoosic Valley in both softball and baseball. The Saints baseball team rode into town with a 5-0 league mark, while the Lady Saints were 2-2 in Wasaren play. Potentially a pair of competitive contests never materialized as two one-sided decisions played out. Continue reading
The Saratoga Catholic baseball team is finding their new digs in the Wasaren just fine thank you. The Saints have yet to lose a league game in their inaugural Wasaren season, pounding Greenwich 10-4 on Tuesday, moving to 5-0 in conference play.
