Raiders Chapman, Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week
Congratulations to Mechanicville running back Evan Chapman, our latest recipient of the Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week award.
The sophomore back ran for 278 yards and two touchdowns in Mechanicville’s 42-15 win over Watervliet on Friday night. Chapman scored on runs of 2 and 38 yards leading the 4-0 Raiders to the win over previously unbeaten Watervliet.

Not much action in the league on Saturday as six of the seven football schools played on Friday night. Just Cambridge took the field Saturday and as they seemingly always do, handled their business.
