Over the second half and two overtime periods neither squad was able to finish a scoring run, and the resulting tie left the door open for Stillwater to share the Wasaren title with Mechanicville (11-1-2). The race for the Wasaren title has been a two team affair most of the season between Stillwater and Mechanicville with Hoosick Falls and Tamarac on the fringe.
