Congratulations to Mechanicville’s Julia Amedeo on being named the Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week.

In her last three outings Julia scored 17 points in a win at Waterford, tallied 12 points in a home “W” over Cambridge, and exploded for 23 points in a road victory over Greenwich on Friday night.

The senior Raider, averaging just under 10 points per contest, has scored 67 points in her last four games and is a big reason why Mechanicville is enjoying a fine season at 10-4 in league play.

Congratulations to Julia, our newest Wasaren Sportsnet Player of the Week.
